Created Creators

The concepts of freewill and Yahweh's Sovereignty are not as irreconcilable as you might think. Nor are they answered by such flimsy explanations as, "Yahweh chose to limit Himself." Oh, it's that and so much more!

Yahweh wanted someone who could share in all facets of Him, someone who would know what it is to be a Creator and with whom He could share His Lordship. This is why He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are His lords and kings that He created. We are His Created Creators, and we are still creating even now with Him.

In fact, we even partnered with Him to create ourselves.

In order to understand this, we must first understand that time is not a line, at least not just a line. In fact, there are seven different views of time that I have right now, though I know that's only a fraction of all that is out there. I will not speak to all of them here, but just know that in one view of time, everything is happening simultaneously. This is how we are currently creating with Yahweh even though we've also already been created.

Before time, in the Finished Work, in the Fullness of Yahweh, we wrote and completed a Covenant by faith. This Covenant was finished as soon as Yahweh and we said “yes and amen” together. It happened that Yahweh opened His whole being to us, every possible nuance and point of existence in all of our lives and experience and He gave it to us to choose.

We could choose anything we wanted, for all of it was good and permissible to us. As we chose, advised and cared for by Yahweh, He wrote it into the contract, the Covenant, of our lives. Then, once we had made all of our choices, we said “yes and amen” and the total completion of the Finished Covenant spread out from that point to reach all points in Infinite-Eternity, including the points in space-time.

In space-time, which is a part of Infinite-Eternity, we walk out this Covenant, rediscovering and agreeing to it by faith so that that which as written in the contract and drawn on the blueprints can be manifest in expression and built as a great sign for all to see. Thus the completion of the Covenant is made by faith so that that which is seen reflects that which is not seen.

Yet, because all of infinite-eternity exists simultaneously, the Finished Work exists always, even in the process, and both sides of the process also exist always. Thus that we are even now resting in the finished work and writing the original Covenant and walking out the building and completion of the expression of the original Covenant at the same time.

Due to the fluidity of the workings, all affect each other. That Yahweh’s sovereignty in the Finished Work affects our expression in space-time and our faith in space-time affects our ability to choose from all possibilities what will be in the Covenant, and the Covenant itself affects what righteous decisions can be made in space-time. In other words, by the faith that we choose today, we either limit or remove the limitations surrounding the Realm of Possibility. By our choices in the writing of the Covenant, we decide—with Yahweh—what righteousness looks like in the expression of our individual lives (with key foundational points that are common to all). By the faith that completed the Finished Work, we tap into the sovereignty of Yahweh and ensure the immutability of the Promise in our lives. Yahweh, the Ultimate Sovereign Creator, gave us much power in these three realms.

The simultaneous nature of these three parts of Infinite-Eternity ensure that:

But oh what is! The finished work
The firmness of Reality
That what is fluid can be sure
All at once what is shall be

Thus that Reality—the original Covenant-writing process, the Finished Work (completion of all), and the process of walking out the Covenant/expression—is both fluid based upon our choices and firm as it is and always will be finished.

Build Your House on the Rock!

This is the story of the wise man and the foolish man, the first being the man who built his house on a Rock, and the second being the man who built his house on sand. We've all been taught that this Rock is Yahshua, or Jesus as we may have known Him, and that the sand was this world. Many of us have happily agreed with this parable, secure in our salvation and that we have chosen wisely to build our houses on the Rock. (This can be found in Matthew 7:24-29). And that is all well and good, but as always, there is more than what we've thus far seen. Let's look at this parable again from a new lens. There is a process that we go through in our existence and creation called Questioning. The Questioning is a beautiful gift from Yahweh because it allows us to have freewill, while at the same time safeguarding our lives and gardens so that we cannot damage them with our choices. This Question is put to every choice we make: Did Yahweh really say? Is Yahweh Yahweh? These Que...

Resonant Intercession

I have a confession to make: I never really believed in the power of prayer. Oh, I knew that I should believe in it, and so I kept praying anyway, reciting the litany of "God bless so-and-so" every night before bed, specifically mentioning my loved ones in my prayers and eventually ending with "and the world" so that everyone I didn't have time to mention was included anyhow. Yet, somehow, asking Yahweh for things never made sense to me. Even as a young person, I wondered why an omniscient, omnipotent being was waiting on my prayers to move in a direction that He had always longed to go. "Please heal so-and-so" is rather silly considering the fact that He knows so-and-so's needs, He desires the fulfillment of their needs more than I do, and He already finished that whole "sickness" idea on the cross. As I began to grow in Yahweh and realize that many of these lacks are not even Real, I found prayer even more silly. Really, Yahweh took...

Multiversal Choices

Your best friend in the whole world, a guy you've grown up with and known since kindergarten, has decided to take up smoking (or drinking, drugs, unprotected promiscuity... insert reckless lifestyle here). You first notice him lighting up at a party, and you're shocked to realize that he has made such a choice. You know he's heard all the stories about how bad smoking is for you because you sat next to him at all the tobacco free assemblies at school, and you helped him to his seat after he looked a little green when watching the teacher in health class do the "how smoking affects the lungs" presentation using real pig lungs and cigarettes. Yet, here he is, a person you love and care about and want to see prosper, making an obviously unhealthy choice. What do you do now? This conundrum is faced on a daily basis by people who see others follow paths that lead to destruction. The question is answered in many ways. (This is not an exhaustive list.) Option 1: ...
