Genesis 3

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

In separation, we know in part, but in Echad We know fully, even as We are fully known. Thus the partnership between Echad and Elohim is eternal and essential. As We each partner with Echad, We do not ask other beings who know in part what can only be answered by Him who knows in full.

EDITED MAY 9
Serpent, knowing it was time to shed the old skin and grow in a different way, asked "Has Yahweh-Echad said that you may not write in your Covenant?"
Woman answered what she had learned from Yahweh-Echad, "We may write anything into Our Covenant, but if We write the knowledge of good and evil into Our Covenant, We will forget Our Oneness and see only separation. Death and life shall be separate."
Serpent opined, "That doesn't make sense. You should write it into your Covenant so you can see what it's like just like Yahweh-Echad does."

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was[a]pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [b]coverings.

So Woman thought about it and went to Yahweh-Echad and they wrote it into their Covenant. Then she spoke to Man and he also chose to write it into his Covenant with Yahweh-Echad. Thus the Veil of good and evil was established, and they decided that seeing the darkness, death, and evil as separate from light, life, and good was not pleasant. They eschewed and rejected the darkness, death, and evil, attempting to hide it, kill it, and remove it even though it was still One in Echad, even as it always had been, and removing darkness will only hurt the light. But integration and remembering Oneness will cause beauty to abound.

And they heard the [c]sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the [d]cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

Seeing the darkness, death, and evil still upon them despite their attempts to kill and hide it, Man and Woman did not feel able to relate to Yahweh-Echad any longer. In attempting to hide the darkeness, death, and evil, they hid themselves from Him entirely (even though in Echad they were still One even as they always had been). Still, Man and Woman saw only separation and did not remember their Oneness any more. Yet, Echad never forgot that they were still One in Him, even as they always had been.

11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”12 Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

So Echad spoke to them through the Veil of Good and Evil, the Veil of Separation. He allowed them the experience of separation, and yet now growth would lead them back to their memories of Oneness. First, He reminded them how they got here. "Have you established the Veil of good and evil? Do you now see separation only, where once we were Echad-Elohim?""Yes!" Man said, "Look at Woman. She is so separate from me." And in his view of separation from her, he tried to tear her down, casting blame and establishing guilt. "Yes!" Woman said, "Look at serpent! He is so separate from me!" And in her view of separation from creation, she tried to tear it down, casting blame and establishing otherness.14 So the Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”So Yahweh-Echad turned to serpent. "You know you are now separate from cattle and beast. You are separate from the ground you can feel with your whole being. You are separate from woman and from her seed. Yet one day, this separation you helped establish shall be no longer. It cannot destroy the Love that We are, even though it bruise it for a time."

16 To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be [e]for your husband, And he shall rule over you.”

Yahweh-Echad spoke to Woman. "Now you will see yourself as separate from your children, as separate from your husband (though you long to be One with him again). He shall see himself also as separate from you."

17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.  Both thorns and thistles it shall [f]bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.  In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”

So Yahweh-Echad spoke to Man saying, "Now creation also sees itself as separate from you. It will not yield itself to you because it sees itself as separate even as you see yourself as separate from it. And when your body returns to the dust, as is an option for your Covenant, you will not remember that death is not separate from life, and it will cause suffering."
20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve,[g] because she was the mother of all living.

21 Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
So in separation, new names were given and Yahweh gave coverings so that Man and Woman could live with the separation that hurt them without the equal knowledge of their Oneness.
22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— 23 therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. 24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Then Yahweh-Echad said, "Man has forgotten their Oneness and now knows only separation of good and evil. So now he cannot remember full Life and Infinite-Eternity." So Man left his awareness of his place in Infinite-Eternity and lived in a small place in space time until such time as he could remember that he was still One in Echad-Elohim, even as He always had been.

Build Your House on the Rock!

This is the story of the wise man and the foolish man, the first being the man who built his house on a Rock, and the second being the man who built his house on sand. We've all been taught that this Rock is Yahshua, or Jesus as we may have known Him, and that the sand was this world. Many of us have happily agreed with this parable, secure in our salvation and that we have chosen wisely to build our houses on the Rock. (This can be found in Matthew 7:24-29). And that is all well and good, but as always, there is more than what we've thus far seen. Let's look at this parable again from a new lens. There is a process that we go through in our existence and creation called Questioning. The Questioning is a beautiful gift from Yahweh because it allows us to have freewill, while at the same time safeguarding our lives and gardens so that we cannot damage them with our choices. This Question is put to every choice we make: Did Yahweh really say? Is Yahweh Yahweh? These Que...

Resonant Intercession

I have a confession to make: I never really believed in the power of prayer. Oh, I knew that I should believe in it, and so I kept praying anyway, reciting the litany of "God bless so-and-so" every night before bed, specifically mentioning my loved ones in my prayers and eventually ending with "and the world" so that everyone I didn't have time to mention was included anyhow. Yet, somehow, asking Yahweh for things never made sense to me. Even as a young person, I wondered why an omniscient, omnipotent being was waiting on my prayers to move in a direction that He had always longed to go. "Please heal so-and-so" is rather silly considering the fact that He knows so-and-so's needs, He desires the fulfillment of their needs more than I do, and He already finished that whole "sickness" idea on the cross. As I began to grow in Yahweh and realize that many of these lacks are not even Real, I found prayer even more silly. Really, Yahweh took...

Multiversal Choices

Your best friend in the whole world, a guy you've grown up with and known since kindergarten, has decided to take up smoking (or drinking, drugs, unprotected promiscuity... insert reckless lifestyle here). You first notice him lighting up at a party, and you're shocked to realize that he has made such a choice. You know he's heard all the stories about how bad smoking is for you because you sat next to him at all the tobacco free assemblies at school, and you helped him to his seat after he looked a little green when watching the teacher in health class do the "how smoking affects the lungs" presentation using real pig lungs and cigarettes. Yet, here he is, a person you love and care about and want to see prosper, making an obviously unhealthy choice. What do you do now? This conundrum is faced on a daily basis by people who see others follow paths that lead to destruction. The question is answered in many ways. (This is not an exhaustive list.) Option 1: ...
