Build Your House on the Rock!

This is the story of the wise man and the foolish man, the first being the man who built his house on a Rock, and the second being the man who built his house on sand. We've all been taught that this Rock is Yahshua, or Jesus as we may have known Him, and that the sand was this world. Many of us have happily agreed with this parable, secure in our salvation and that we have chosen wisely to build our houses on the Rock. (This can be found in Matthew 7:24-29). And that is all well and good, but as always, there is more than what we've thus far seen. Let's look at this parable again from a new lens. There is a process that we go through in our existence and creation called Questioning. The Questioning is a beautiful gift from Yahweh because it allows us to have freewill, while at the same time safeguarding our lives and gardens so that we cannot damage them with our choices. This Question is put to every choice we make: Did Yahweh really say? Is Yahweh Yahweh? These Que...

The Seven Views of Time: Spiracular Time

Firstly, as a linguist, I am aware that there is no such word as spiracular. I make up words. When you're exploring the unknown, you get to do that. It's one of the many perks. This next view of time will be more difficult to comprehend than linear or circular time, and I haven't heard of a culture that really bases their view of time on a spiral. I will also say here that I haven't explored the time spiral as much as the timeline and the circle of time. Indeed, there will be much more revelation on the time spiral as I travel the time spiral... Spiracular time is much like circular time, except that instead of hitting the same point over and over again, you are hitting points slightly farther out than the ones you hit before. It is for this reason that spiral time allows progress to happen, while also allowing you to revisit or learn again something you've already experienced. My views on redemption have changed quite a bit in the past few months. Redemptio...

The First Commandment

This post is a short one, for sometimes I like to post little seeds that will get you to think. YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. We have always considered this to mean that we shall not worship idols. We should not elevate any created god to the level of Yahweh. We should not believe that the stone or wooden craft is equal to Him. But He is existence. What if this commandment goes deeper than that? What if it is telling you to only believe in Yahweh... that He is all that there is. To believe that anything contrary to Him exists at all would then violate this commandment. Nothing but Yahweh can be.  Whatever else we think we see or experience... is not. No idea, no image, no tangible thing can be unless it is Him. In that case, to raise ideas, images, or experiences to the level of His Reality is violating this commandment. I don't understand it all either, but this I know: Yahweh is all that there is.

The Seven Circles of Katalambano

Katalambano is a Greek word, which I found in my Bible and which you can examine more  here . Of course, Yahweh is all that there is, so some of the idea of overcoming needs to be rethought. What are we overcoming? We overcome the questioning (mentioned in the blog post "The Trinity of Faith") and answer yes and amen to Yahweh. Katalambano means two important things to me. Besides "overcome," it is also used to mean "lay hold of" or "attain." It is the word used in Philippians 3:12 when it talks about pressing on to "lay hold of" that for which Christ Yahshua "laid hold of" me. It is also used in John 1:5 where it talks about the light shining in the darkness and the darkness did not "overcome," or in some versions "comprehend" it. It is through katalambano that we grow our Promise, attain a new portion of it, complete our creation. Everything that exists is 3, 7, and 12, so you might call this the se...

The Trinity of Faith

It can be difficult to explain this revelation on a blog because every time I go to write something, I find something else I have to explain. This is one of the foundational elements in what I call "The Creator's Paradigm," which is the entire revelation that I have so far. Faith, like Yahweh, is a Trinity. It is the "substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) It is the glue that holds creation together and the process by which all things are created. The word "evidence" has a root which means "seeing." The evidence of things not seen, therefore, means the "seeing of the unseen." It is also the substance, or tangible physical existence, of what you hope for. Generally what you hope for is something you've only seen in your mind or heart. We are created creators, partnering with Yahweh to create. Yahweh Himself uses this process to create all things, as we will see in a minute, however w...

The Seven Views of Time: Circular Time

Isaiah 40:22 says that Yahweh sits above the circle of the Earth. If you look at creation, it is full of circles. The planets and stars are circles, the cells in a human body, the nucleus of an atom... even the paths that planets take around the sun. Circular time is much like the path a planet takes around the sun. Time is your orientation to an event, or an event's orientation to you. We are used to saying that ____ happened in the past or we hope ____ will happen in the future. In circular time, those events can come back to the present. The third view of time, spiracular or spiral time, is somewhat similar. Also similar will be the Seven Circles of Katalambano, but both of these will be mentioned in different posts. One of the strongest advocates for the Reality of circular time is the idea that Yahshua is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega. In linear time, that would not be possible as the End and the Beginning are clearly distinct, however no matter where yo...

The Seven Views of Time: The Time Line (Linear Time)

I have, currently, seven views of time. These views can seem to contradict each other, but in Reality they are all happening together. I have tried to draw pictures of it but I am not very artistic when it comes to drawing and, honestly, it is difficult to draw an omnidimensional Infinite-Eternity with motion on a still two-dimensional plane. The view of time with which most Americans are familiar is the time line. This is the simple idea of sequence; of beginning, middle, and end; of past, present, and future. When viewing existence through this lens, we can experience things in a progressive order. If we only view existence through this lens, we can look at our own lives as non-existent before a certain point. We can look at history starting in the Garden of Eden and continuing up to this present point. We have no access to past or future in this view of time, and we have concepts of becoming and maturing, primacy and order. The Truth in this view of time is that there is alway...

Created Creators

The concepts of freewill and Yahweh's Sovereignty are not as irreconcilable as you might think. Nor are they answered by such flimsy explanations as, "Yahweh chose to limit Himself." Oh, it's that and so much more! Yahweh wanted someone who could share in all facets of Him, someone who would know what it is to be a Creator and with whom He could share His Lordship. This is why He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are His lords and kings that He created. We are His Created Creators, and we are still creating even now with Him. In fact, we even partnered with Him to create ourselves. In order to understand this, we must first understand that time is not a line, at least not just a line. In fact, there are seven different views of time that I have right now, though I know that's only a fraction of all that is out there. I will not speak to all of them here, but just know that in one view of time, everything is happening simultaneously.  This is how...

Yahweh is All That There Is

One of the earliest lessons in any child's life is the ability to discern reality from make-believe. I remember these lessons well, for I loved television and stories of all forms even at a very young age. I recall being told that monsters were not real, and so I never feared them. However, my mother, being unable to lie to me, could not convince me that tigers and panthers as in "The Jungle Book" were not real, and I spent many nights crying because I thought they were going to climb into my window and eat me while I slept. (I had no concept of geography or indigenous species at the time.) I never feared monsters because I knew they were not real. Tigers are real, and so they are able to be feared. Likewise, my little five-year-old self knew that kidnappers were scary and real, but nothing lived in my closet. Fears developed around this awareness of reality. Some were kept at bay and some were strengthened and enhanced based on what I learned of the world as I grew. By...
